How to Remove Phosphates from Water and Reduce Algae
- Initial starting dose = 1 gram/gallon.
- Rinse all new media and place in media bag or fluidized reactor
- For optimal effectiveness check weekly and do not allow overall phosphate levels to test above 0.25ppm. If phosphates are present and above 0.15ppm, GFO should be increased or replaced.
- If After 24 hours there are any negative coral reactions visible then reduce the amount by half.
