**Feeding Guide for**:

1. **Feed once a day**: Ensure to provide food to the themonly once or twice per week.

2. **Feed enough that them should finish it in 10 minutes**: Adjust the amount of food so that them can finish eating within about 10 minutes. This helps prevent overfeeding.

3. **Scoop out the leftover food to avoid nitrate spike**: After 10 minutes, if there is any leftover food, scoop it out to avoid a nitrate spike in the water, which can be harmful to the livestockin the tank inhabitants.

New Life Spectrum Optimum Flakes use the Spectrum Nutrition Formula. They are suitable for smaller, surface feeding community fish. While pellets provide higher nutrient density and stability in water, this is a great solution for those fish conditioned to flakes or as a transition from flake foods to New Life Spectrum pellets.
