Occasionally, the view on the underwater landscape and its inhabitants can be obstructed. If the aquarium glass is covered with algae or a biofilm, this is generally not a problem for the animals, but it is of course unpleasant for the observer. Spot algae can often only be removed with great pressure.
Water stains and slight lime marks are also an annoying problem, especially in open aquariums.

The Sponge Hard is designed precisely for these kinds of dirt. The top is made of fine, woven steel wool and cleans the glass without scratching it. The aquarium can be cleaned quickly and easily right into the corners with low pressure.
